This online self-learning program provides an introduction of the Los Angeles Motor Scale (LAMS). The purpose of this short program is to prepare the paramedics and medical first responders (MFR) for assessing stroke in the field using LAMS and understanding its implications in the transport of acute stroke patients. The launch of this program is aligned with the Alberta Health Services (AHS) pathway that is rolled out to allow acute stroke patients to access Endovascular Therapy.
